About Maccura

Maccura Skills-to-Income Innovation Institute

A contemporary, market-oriented institution in Kapsabet, Nandi County, serving learners, entrepreneurs, farmers, businesses and communities across the North Rift.

Who we are

Skills that become income

The Maccura Skills-to-Income Innovation Institute (SIII) responds to the need for accessible, practical and employment-oriented training that enables individuals to acquire relevant skills within a short period and apply them to income generation, self-employment, enterprise development or improved employment prospects.

Unlike conventional training institutions that depend primarily on tuition fees and formal academic programmes, Maccura integrates three complementary departments (training, research and enterprise) into one coordinated model.

Vision

To become a leading North Rift centre for practical skills, applied research, digital innovation and sustainable enterprise.

Mission

To equip individuals and communities with market-relevant skills, generate actionable data and knowledge, and develop profitable enterprises that create jobs, strengthen livelihoods and contribute to sustainable local development.

Our structure

Three departments, one coordinated model

Training develops practical competencies, research generates evidence and provides professional services, and commercial enterprises create revenue, employment and real-world learning opportunities.
